History.

Gtec is a descendent of Yachting Gibraltar established for over 10 years.

The aim is to provide a comprehensive training programme for workers in and around Gibraltar Port and for other seafarers working in the maritime industry.

Gtec under the name of Yachting Gibraltar has been providing training to the Gibraltar Maritime Industry for the last four years and has now reorganised to provide this training in a more formal and professional format.

STCW 95.

The STCW 95 training is almost ready to run but in the mean time is being run in the U.K.

First Aid has been provisionally approved to run in Gibraltar as has PSSR.

The fire simulator for providing STCW 95 fire prevention training is ready for installation.

Gtec is negotiating for pool facilities for providing STCW 95 Sea Survival courses.

Diesel Engine operators certificate.

Ships radio operators certificate (Long Range)

Three day radar course.

Extended first aid courses.
