 This is a dedicated radar course for the Gibraltar area and consists of half day in the classroom and half day on board. The course covers position fixing, collision avoidance, fog navigation and general use of radar equipment.

Designed for local waters this course covers basic navigation skills, bouyage, lights and shapes, sound signals, taking and plotting fixes. Part of the course is devoted to local regulations and sound signals, basic safety, stability and use of GPS

This is a dedicated course for port workers covering navigation as the three day course and including tidal predictions and heights.

Previous experience on boat handling is required.

Course includes Radar, VHF, 5 day navigation course, sea survival, local rules and regulations, safety, stability, weather, safety procedures when transferring personnel, collision regulations and local sound signals.
